Drake Confirms FOMO Songs Hit Streaming Thursday, October 1
During a surprise Kick livestream on Monday night, September 28, Drake gave fans exactly what they've been asking for: a selection of songs from his FOMO short film project will arrive on streaming services Thursday, October 1. The announcement answers weeks of anticipation around the film's music, which premiered on YouTube on September 15, was briefly taken down, then restored — with listeners begging for the tracks to hit their rotations ever since.

Drake left the lineup open-ended. He told viewers "enough of them" would become available — not every song, but enough to satisfy the demand. An official tracklist has not been published, so the titles circulating online remain possibilities, not confirmations. Among the anticipated selections: "Cold Shoulder" featuring Don Toliver, a remix of Ella Langley’s record-breaking "Choosin’ Texas" (also featuring Toliver), "Be Free" with Gordo, and "Quebec," which already received an individual video teaser. XXL reports the hour-long film packs roughly a dozen new or reimagined songs, including an extended version of "Classic," a remix of "Janice STFU" with OnlyHeaven, and a previewed reunion with PARTYNEXTDOOR. One song from the project is already spoken for — his Yeat collaboration "Miss My Dawg" has landed on Yeat’s Cocoon EP.
Self-Funded Surrealism
The film also carries new visuals for tracks from his Maid of Honour and Habibti albums, part of a year that has already delivered three full-length albums from the Toronto rapper, per The Source. Drake described the project as "self funded surrealism," calling it "a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer." True to his word, the songs come straight from the source — no label rollout, just Drake giving the fans what they asked for.
