THE DELUXE
DDG celebrated his birthday weekend the only way he knows how — by making more music on the spot. On October 10, the Pontiac rapper dropped HIT-A-THON (Deluxe), an extended edition of his September Epic Records LP that adds seven new tracks to the project.
The additions put DDG's collaborator run front and center. The deluxe includes the highly requested Cash Cobain collaboration "2 Much," produced by Hitmaka, according to the label release — and keeps the album's on-stream DNA intact, with verses from 42 Dugg, Jacquees, K CAMP, Trippie Redd, Zeddy Will and more, recorded as part of his viral album-making series.
THE "SCRUB DA GROUND" VISUAL
Alongside the deluxe, DDG dropped the official music video for "SCRUB DA GROUND," his Bunna B collaboration from the original tracklist. Directed by Jerry Production, the visual leans all the way into strip-club spectacle — DDG making it rain while dancers turn the room into a highlight reel.
The deluxe arrives on the heels of a chart milestone. HIT-A-THON debuted at No. 141 on the Billboard 200 — his second appearance on the chart — and landed at No. 46 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 24 on Top Rap Albums, per the release.
